Continents Attribute Organiser

This weeks theme is about continents - choose countries. One of my main activities was to create a "Continents Attribute Organiser", for this activity, you were to make a copy of the Attribute Organiser doc and fill in the answers to the questions that were asked. Here's what it looked like:

As you can see there are a lot of blanks spaces that need to be filled in, some were pretty tricky but basically you are to research the different questions that were being asked in the image above and complete it in a short time limit (15 - 30), there is already an example!

Something I found challenging about this activity was that most of the Continents didn't tell much information while researching it, that was pretty difficult.

What I really enjoyed about this activity was that, while you answered the questions, you were also learning new things at the same time!

Lastly, something I could improve on and do better next time would be answering the questions I already know instead of going in order. - I find it easier that way(;

If you think I could improve on something else, let me know by giving me a little comment! Here's the finished product:

Coping with stress

 WALT: Write a quality blog post by using the “Smart Learner” writing criteria .

Last term one of our literacy topics was “It's all in your mind”. We had lots of tasks to choose from, one of my tasks was Coping with stress, this was put on the google slides. I had to research different ideas of how to cope with stress. On one of the google slides, 2 questions were asked: “What is stress?” and “Who do you contact?”  I had to write at least 4 different answers for each question, some mistakes were made but then fixed, I learnt from my mistakes. The second slide was to insert some pictures on google of what can calm you down. Then you had to write why it calms you down, For example: Yoga - peaceful stretching can calm you down from anxiety. If you would like to see more on our google site of what we are doing, you can go to our Team’s google site.

What I found challenging for this activity was researching a question that didn’t have much detail or information too. What I enjoyed was adding pictures that sincerely went with my ideas of what I write.

For this activity I wanted to make sure that it made sense and I have completed it. The rest of my information for all of the other tasks will be in our Room 24 Literacy checklist.
